Metro Auto Spa (“Metro Auto Spa”, “we”, “us”) provides mobile car detailing across Toronto, the GTA and Durham. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit metroautospa.ca, request a quote, fill out a form on our website or on Facebook or Instagram, call, text or book with us, and how we use and protect it.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect only what we need to quote and perform your service: your name, phone number, email address, service address, vehicle make and model, the service you are interested in, preferred dates and times, and any notes you give us about your vehicle. If you pay online, payment is handled by our payment processor and we do not see or store your full card number. We also keep a record of our messages, calls and appointments with you.
HOW YOU GIVE US INFORMATION
You give us information when you submit a form on our website, complete a lead form on a Facebook or Instagram ad, book through our online calendar, call or text our number, or message our chat assistant. Our website may also collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device and pages visited, using cookies and similar tools.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to respond to your request, give you a price, schedule and perform your detail, send appointment confirmations and reminders, collect payment or a deposit, follow up on your quote, improve our service, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
TEXT MESSAGES AND EMAIL
When you give us your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your request, your booking and related offers by text message, phone call and email. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and out of email by using the unsubscribe link. Opting out will not affect messages about an appointment you have already booked. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.
FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM LEAD FORMS
If you submit a lead form through a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad, the information you enter is shared with us so we can contact you about your request. Meta handles the form on its platform under its own privacy policy. We use the information only to respond to you and manage your booking.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as our customer management and messaging platform (GoHighLevel), online payment processing, website hosting and analytics, email and phone providers, and advertising platforms such as Meta and Google. They may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, follow up on quotes, support repeat bookings and meet legal and tax requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
SECURITY
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and trusted, encrypted platforms, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent to be contacted, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirement to keep certain records.
