At Metro Auto Spa, mobile detailing starts from $80 for an exterior hand wash with protection, $165 for a full interior reset and $210 for a complete interior and exterior detail, all before HST. The final price depends on your vehicle size and its condition, and we confirm it with you before we start.
Prices for car detailing in the GTA vary a lot, and two quotes that look similar can include very different work. Here is what actually drives the price, what our packages cost, and the questions worth asking any detailer before you book.
What changes the price of a detail
- Vehicle size. A compact car takes less time and product than a three-row SUV or a pickup, so larger vehicles cost more.
- Condition. A well-kept daily driver is quicker than a car with heavy dirt, pet hair, mould or a long list of stains.
- Which service you pick. Interior only, exterior only, or both in one visit.
- Add-ons. Extras such as pet hair removal, odour treatment or an engine bay clean are priced on top.
- Where the car is. Some detailers charge travel fees. We do not charge one across Toronto, Mississauga, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill or Durham Region.

Mobile versus shop pricing
A mobile detail is not a discount version of a shop detail. You are paying for the same work, plus the time you save by not dropping the car off, waiting or arranging a ride. Many people find that trade is worth it, especially when the detailer comes to the driveway or office parking lot.

Questions to ask before you book
- What exactly is included in this price? Ask for the list, not just the package name.
- Is the price fixed, or does it change once the detailer sees the car?
- Are there travel fees, and is HST included in the quote?
- Is the detailer insured? We are fully insured.
- What is the deposit and cancellation policy? We take a 50% deposit, with a full deposit refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment.
